Experiential marketing is one that directly engages consumers and invites and encourages them to participate in the evolution of a particular brand or a brand experience.
Rather than looking at consumers as passive receivers of messages, engagement marketers believe that consumers should be actively involved in the production and co-creation of marketing programs, developing a relationship with the brand. Leaving them with a lasting impression.
Using real and tangible branding materials and methods, a business can show its customers not just what the company offers, but what it stands for!
Whatever type of campaigns you may have, it can take an integrated approach. The primary purpose is to experience a brand in a tangible, offline way, but you'll still want an online dialogue around it, which is a great way to stretch the marketing budget.
As we all know whenever someone experiences something cool, unique or special, that they want to share it with everyone they know as well.
